This page explains what cookies and similar browser storage Challecious Music uses, and why. For how we handle information more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Sites also use similar browser storage (like “local storage”) for the same kinds of purposes.
What we actually use
Essential cookies. WordPress, our website platform, sets a small number of standard cookies needed for the site to function correctly.
Performance caching. Our caching system uses cookies to serve pages faster to repeat visitors. These don’t identify you personally.
Session identifier (local storage, not a cookie). When you stream a song, your browser generates a random, anonymous session ID stored locally on your device. This lets us count a genuine listen once rather than many times if you replay a song, and feeds our Trending chart. It isn’t linked to your name or any account.
Share buttons. If you click Share on WhatsApp or Share on Facebook, that takes you to WhatsApp’s or Facebook’s own site, which may set their own cookies under their own policies. We don’t control those.
What we don’t use
We don’t run advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies on Challecious Music.
Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser’s settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect how well the site works.
