This Privacy Policy explains what information Challecious Music (“we”, “us”) collects when you use challeciousmusic.com, and how we use it. We keep this simple: streaming and downloading music here does not require an account, and we collect the minimum needed to run the site well.
What we collect
Listening and download activity. When you stream a song past a short threshold, or download one, we record the song, an approximate timestamp, a randomly generated session identifier stored in your browser, and a one-way hashed version of your IP address (we do not store your raw IP address). We use this purely to power the automatic Top 10 Trending chart and to prevent abuse (like a single visitor inflating a song’s stream count).
Standard technical data. Like most websites, our hosting and caching infrastructure logs basic technical information (such as browser type and request timestamps) for security and performance purposes.
Information you give us directly. If you email or message us (for example, to submit music or report a copyright concern), we keep that correspondence to respond to you.
What we don’t do
We don’t require you to create an account to stream or download music. We don’t sell your personal information to anyone. We don’t run third-party advertising trackers on the site.
Where your data lives
Song and artwork files are delivered via Cloudflare’s content delivery network. The rest of the site runs on our hosting provider’s servers. Both are standard, reputable infrastructure providers; neither has access to use your data beyond delivering the site to you.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and browser storage, mostly to keep the site functioning and cached efficiently. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Your rights
Since we don’t hold accounts or persistent personal profiles, there’s generally very little personal data of yours to request or delete. If you have questions about any data we might hold about you, email corneliouschibale1@gmail.com and we’ll help.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Significant changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
